Dear East Canton High School Parents and Students,
Welcome to the 2024-25 school year! I am thrilled to embark on this exciting academic journey with you as the new principal of East Canton High School, taking over from Mr. Hinton. Our dedicated faculty and staff have been diligently preparing to create a clean, safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that fosters academic excellence, personal growth, and community involvement.
This year, we are introducing several innovative programs to enhance student learning and engagement, focusing on our expanded STEM curriculum. Furthermore, our collaboration with Stark Education will bring local businesses to East Canton to discuss career paths and job opportunities. We are also thrilled to launch The Richard James Kempthorn Hall of Fame Character Program in partnership with the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Our goal is to ensure every student feels supported, challenged, and inspired to reach their fullest potential. We are dedicated to providing opportunities and support to help our students achieve their goals, whether they plan to attend college, join the military, pursue a career in the trades, or enter the workforce in any capacity.
We encourage open communication and active participation from parents and students alike, as we believe that a strong partnership between home and school is key to student success. Together, let's make this school year a memorable and impactful one.
