6th Grade Chromebooks
We are excited to announce that all 6th grade students at East Canton Middle School will again receive their very own school-issued Chromebook for the 2024-2025 school year. This will be no charge to our school families.
This initiative aims to enhance the learning experience and provide students with the necessary tools to excel in their studies. By equipping each student with a Chromebook, we are enabling them to explore new digital resources, access online textbooks, and Opens in a new browser tabcollaborate effortlessly with their peers. This technology will empower our students to engage in interactive learning experiences, develop crucial digital literacy skills, and prepare for the increasingly digital world!
Chromebooks will be given to all 6th grade students during the first week of school. Students will only be permitted to take them home at the administration & teachers’ discretion. We do ask that all families and students complete a “Technology-Use Agreement” form.
Purple Star Award
The Purple Star Award recognizes schools that show a major commitment to students and families connected to our nation’s military. Schools that earn the award receive a special Purple Star recognition to display on site. East Canton Middle School is honored to be recognized as a Purple Star School!
